WORKING RESIDENCE IN NADALOKALARTISTS

From 8th to 13th of February Andrea Maurer and Ewa Bankowska have been working on their new creation numbers in pieces, which will be premiered on 7th of may in WUK performing arts. There will be a presentation of research related material in nadalokal at a later moment this year with endless lists, heaps of numbers and broken measurement devices.
Ewa Bankowska (AUT/PL)
a performer and a choreographer, who works and lives in Vienna. Her creations, which include both individual pieces as well as collaborations can be situated between the practices of performance, theatre and music, all rooted in choreographic perception.
Andrea Maurer
In ihren zumeist performativen und/oder installativen Formaten behandelt, zerlegt und verdreht Andrea Maurer Zusammenhänge von Sprache, Wirklichkeit und Wahrnehmung. Zuletzt wurde sie gemeinsam mit Frans Poelstra in dem Stück Poelstra stolpert, Maurer sägt (2014) gesehen. Für die Installation Gesprächsgegenstände (2014) wurde sie mit dem Salzburger Landespreis für Medienkunst ausgezeichnet. Demnächst wird sie u.a. mit der Performance-Installation Die Baugrube beim Festival der Regionen zu Gast sein. www.studio-5.at
