ASMR of the Future

Friday November 27th 2015 at 20:00

nadaLokal is happy to have Quim Pujol as a guest for the evening. He will be presenting: ASMR of the futur. ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) is a neologism for a perceptual phenomenon characterized as a distinct, pleasurable tingling sensation in peripheral regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile or cognitive stimuli. This phenomenon emerged in cyberculture, with numerous (often female) “ASMR artists” trying to trigger this sensation in online videos. In this somatic action, Quim Pujol uses ASMR techniques on a body from the future in order to imagine new corporeal dimensions.
