nadaLokal & nadaproductions are very happy to invite you for our Christmas Party.
For this event we have the pleasure to recieve the chilien artist Javier Mansilla and his Rubbish bag works exhibition.
A warm soup, some salad, christmas cakes and nice drinks will accompany the exhibition and allow us to spend a last moment together before 2016.
We are really looking to see you in nadaLokal.
nadaLokal is happy to have Quim Pujol as a guest for the evening. He will be presenting: ASMR of the futur. ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) is a neologism for a perceptual phenomenon characterized as a distinct, pleasurable tingling sensation in peripheral regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile or cognitive stimuli. This phenomenon emerged in cyberculture, with numerous (often female) “ASMR artists” trying to trigger this sensation in online videos.
In this somatic action, Quim Pujol uses ASMR techniques on a body from the future in order to imagine new corporeal dimensions.
As a warming up for the Paris Climate Conference Cop 21, for the emerging movements around the events and towards the BMfB’s Presentation in Paris, an informal presentation of the film This Changes everything will be screened at nadalokal.
RESIDENCY / PERFORMANCE / VIDEO / SOUND / INSTALLATION
Friday and Saturday September 11th and 12 from 16:30 to 22:00
After a month residency in nadaLokal, Karin Pauer will present her new project remember this kiss you’ve never tasted.
remember this kiss you’ve never tasted is a performative installation,
an enduring quest for places and times that may have never existed.
We investigate the longing for a utopia
which is situated somewhere between the nowhere and the elsewhere
and it’s impact on the texture of reality.
we won’t ask you to stay but without you it all really means nothing.
